  • Comments Thread For: Memo Expects Marquez To Recover Fast, Return as Planned

Angel "Memo" Heredia, the strength and conditioning coach of former four division champion Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40 KOs), believes his client's recent injury will not jeopardize a planned ring return in August. As previously reported, Marquez suffered a bicep injury during his ongoing training camp with head coach Nacho Beristain. Marquez has been inactive since May of 2014, when he won a twelve round unanimous decision over former champion Mike Alvarado at The Forum in Los Angeles.

doesn't get much dumber than this comment. You want a 40 plus yr old former feather weight to fight a mid 20 yr old middle weight who just fought at super middle weight? Get real.. Also you should be aware that tainos are synonymous with Puerto Ricans and other carribean islands, not Mexico(Aztec ancestry) . So calling Canelo a Taino God is incorrect because he is neither of Taino ancestry nor a God.

Canelo = Taino God! Get over it. He took over PR when he beat all your bums. Even the WBO got on their knees when Canelo landed in PR. Canelo is the new Taino God; so bow down!
