Change is sometimes good, but sometimes not.

I can see why haye thinks he would be a good fit. For his sake I hope there's no language barrier.

This should be very interesting. I expect good things for Haye. Salas and Pedro Diaz have good strategies.

No worries there, Salas can speak English.

I know he trained Rigo, and currently trains Linares... does that mean Haye's going back to his defensive counter punching style? Has Salas trained any notable offensive fighters?

Na seems like something bad went down between the two. Not sure what, with someone like Haye though it could've been ego or money.

You're right, they're defensive fighters with great counter punching skills, which would've suited Haye to a tee before.

His timing and speed was so bloody awful against Bellew though. He was all over the place and getting tagged with a left hook coming in repeatedly.

I think the problem for him has always been he has a very limited attack. I thought he started swinging so wildly because he didn't know how to break Bellew down and began to get get frustrated.

I've also come round to the idea his Achilles was playing up before the fight, or he had other fitness issues which might have effected him.

hes a shot fighter now. i watched bellew v haye replay the other day (my stream wasnt great for the fight) and i forgot how even the fight was before the actual injury. haye looked god damn awful, swinging like a drunk. looked far too heavy and bulky.
