Comments Thread For: Klitschko To Make Decision Joshua Rematch "Within Two Weeks"

Former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko says he'll decide whether to have a rematch with Anthony Joshua "within the next two weeks." Klitschko, who lost by an 11th round TKO in a pulsating bout with the Briton on April 29, says in comments reported by news agency dpa, "My life isn't only sport and boxing," and that he's planning "the career after the career."

If he decides to retire, hope the best for him as he's had a very stellar career and was the Man at heavyweight for quite a long time.

Joshua to win by 3rd round KO. He'll drop Wlad three times and the ref will stop it.

he should retire, unless he wants another big payday but another KO embarrassment. If he couldn't pull the trigger in his last match when he had Joshua rocked, he'll be even more gun shy and reluctant after having suffered a brutal KO.

Why does he need 2 weeks to decide at this stage of his career? It's not like he's some contender or young champ who needs to weigh the risk vs reward against his future marketability...
Either he wants it, or he doesn't.

Sounds like you know exactly what he's going through. Please, tell us more about what it feels like to be dethroned after a ten-rein as the Heavyweight Champion of the World...and how easy career decisions are once you reach that point.

If he don't rematch josh he might regret it. But he can always go for parker and then retire

I think the fact that he hasn't decided yet speaks volumes. If he's not sure he shouldn't go anywhere near AJ, who is only going to get better. Retire with your head held high.

Has he said it's either AJ or retire .Beating Parker means nothing to him.I hope he retires but the trouble he had AJ in you wouldn't blame him if he wanted to try again .......I'd buy it.
