  • Comments Thread For: UFC's White: Mayweather-McGregor Does 2.5 To 4 Million Buys

UFC president Dana White is expected a very big pay-per-view buyrate for the proposed pay-per-view boxing fight between company superstar Conor McGregor and retired five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. White, who already reached a deal with McGregor on his side of the fence, is now hoping to reach a deal with Mayweather, who retired from the sport in September 2015 after dominating Andre Berto over twelve rounds.

By 50/50 split does he mean he's splitting connors purse with him 50/50 because there's no way they're getting that cut from floyd

No way does Mayweather do 50-50, not even sure he does 60-40 here.

Dana is out his mind. No way are they getting a 50/50 split. Probably 60/40 at best and floyd controls the entire promotion using Mayweather promotions. Dana really thinking he dictating anything lol just like 2 weeks ago when he gave floyd a deadline of the end of the week to get back to him. The week came and went and he still trying to negotiate didn't walk away. Floyd will make the fight on his time table and will tell you what the terms are.

Floyd will look at what he makes if he is satisfied he will agree, because what will happen here is a stalemate which means no fight. Just like the Manny fight, there is just too much money on the table to walk away from, so once the BS is outa the way they will meet at the Stonewall and the fight will be on.

more like 70-30 for ufc out of connors split. Most likely be 60-40, rumours few weeks ago were $75mil guarantee for connor and $100mil Guarantee for Floyd, dont know how true them figures are though.

50/50? No chance lol the main reason floyd wants to make this fight is to show everyone that for all the mcgregor hype he is the bigger star by getting the bigger split its just an ego thing like hell is he giving them 50%

This is just more headline grabbing from two fading stars..hoping to cash in as much as possible and stay media relevant.
Even if Nayweather does lace up against Mcgregor, it will be the usual safety first defensive fight from the money man. His original goal of equalling Rocky Marciano's record was at first laudable, but fighting a half shot fighter with little risk when there were ten far more challenging fighters to choose from. This sealed Floyd's mindset that he lives in a bubble and did not have the balls to put it on the line towards the end.
Just because you have big names on your resume does not make you great. ODLH beat Chavez, but no one would dare assume it was a fair match up.
A bombastic, narccisist who cna't get enough press and is as shallow as a footpath puddle.

50-50... eh... I don't think many boxing fans will buy this fight. Mostly MMA fans. Therefore, the MMA star is who should get the lions share. 60-40 for Mcgregor. They're both equal stars, but Mcgreogr has the higher PPV sales outside of Pacquiao, and he's who will bring more UFC fans to this fight than Floyd will bring boxing fans.
