Comments Thread For: Marquez Fires Back at Miguel Cotto: Take Care of Kamegai First!

A war of words has broken out between former world champions and future Hall of Famers, Juan Manuel 'Dinamita' Marquez of Mexico and Miguel Angel Cotto of Puerto Rico. Cotto recently lashed out in Marquez direction, because he claims the Mexican veteran is dragging his feet when it comes to reaching an agreement on a potential catch-weight bout between the two of them.

Why are you putting a exclamation point as if Marquez was mad and shouting, I saw the interview, Marquez didn't even raise his voice, he just said cotto has kamegai in front of him and that they could fight after both have tuneups

I have a feeling Cotto/Kamegai is going to be a cherry pick gone wrong situation even though I'm a huge Cotto fan

I selfishly would love Marquez to fight again. Just love the way he fights.

Cotto needs to stop chasing after a 43 year old super lightweight.
