  • Comments Thread For: Hearn Sees Klitschko, Wilder, Fury as Next Three Bouts For Joshua

Anthony Joshua will attempt to contest a rematch against Wladimir Klitschko before fighting Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, according to his promoter. Joshua stopped Klitschko by technical knockout in the 11th round of a thrilling bout in front of 90,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium last month to unify the IBF, WBA and IBO world heavyweight titles.

"I think from a fans perspective, and I call myself one of those as well, Klitschko, Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, they would be the next three fights for Anthony Joshua"

From a fans perspective. Next fight will either be Klitschko or Pulev and after that there will still be mandatories to deal with. Fury may never return and Wilder may not be a champ by the time Joshua gets to him. A lot can change very quickly.

Well i think its certain Wilder will NOT be his second opponent . lol

Not unless Joshua plans on taking the entire 2018 off and returns in 2019 when that fight actually happens .

Why would they go the Ortiz route ??

The Wilder fight will probably be the easiest of the 3. The Fury fight is the one I want to see most. He still the king of the division.

Hearn knows full well those are not going to be Joshua's next 3 fights as it's simply not possible. Not with 2 mandatories, 1 of which has already been delayed once already due to unification and could be delayed again due to the rematch.

Kind of nothing article really, all it is is Hearn telling us that he thinks fans want to see those 3 fights.

As long as he doesn't let Wilder catch him with a lucky right hand Joshua KO's him within 6 rounds. Wilder is garbage. Want proof? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOHGc9x-uW8 thats a 2 minute video describing how bad Wilder is.

Only real threat for Joshua is Klitschko (if he gasses out again, this time maybe he will be in serious trouble) Ortiz (drug cheat so doesn't deserve a title shot) and of course the lucky heavyweight punch that could knock anyone out. Other than that rest of these guys are easy pickings for Joshua.

The weird thing is that if Joshua gets past those 2 dangerous guys, I could see him being undefeated for the remainder of his career.
