  • Comments Thread For: Joel Diaz Discusses Plan of Attack To Beat Terence Crawford

This Saturday night, trainer Joel Diaz will be in the corner of Olympic gold medal winner Felix Diaz (19-1, 9 KOs) as he faces unified 140-pound champion, Terence Crawford (30-0, 21 KOs), who is one of the toughest puzzles to solve in all of boxing. So just how do you defeat Crawford, who is not only one of the soundest boxers in the game but is adept at fighting from both the orthodox and southpaw stance?

I'm certain Diaz will try to make a fight out of it and stick to his game plan and he will have his moments but in the end I see Crawford with a UD12...

Crawford should easily win this fight, diaz isn't that good,he's avg and with really no power, and Crawford is big so the power of diaz is even diminished a lot more,,,i think Crawford wins a unanimous decision or maybe tko late in the fight

Crawford will dominate as he did against Postol. He is simply too good for Diaz who is talented but just not on that level.

Diaz is 5' 5" with a 67" reach. Crawford is 5' 8", with a 70" reach. Diaz has 19 wins, with only 9 KOs, so he's not a big puncher. Run that by me again how Diaz is going to get inside and make it a dog fight? The hobbit is toast. Crawford needs better fights than this.

Crawford starts pulling ahead around the 4th. Diaz needs a KO to win by the 8th and looks done by the 9th-10th rd.

Arum already has given "Bud" the green light to smash Diaz, Look impressive & mouth gag the casuals with a KO to demand a Pax showdown

I am inclined to believe TC and his team are taking Felix a lot more seriously than one would believe just by reading these boards.

It is going to be interesting and competitive for as long as it lasts.

This is no walk in the park for either fighter.
