      i dont really know....but i do know when golovkin fans were trying to explain lemieux losses to rubio and alcine they said he was "green"....soooo

        i honestly try not to diss loma for his loss or give him too much credit for his opposition at this point

        i think its good that he is fighting the guys he is...he could choose a different path...but this is about where he should be so i dont diss or give too much credit either way...

        i just hate when people use lomas resume thus far to diss some other guys...like mikey...when in reality him and mikey fought common opponents at near identical ages

          Take it up with the OP, the opening post of this thread is asking whether or not age matters. Using your logic Canelo's age should have been a factor in losing to Floyd since he was only 23 and had less than half as many amateur bouts as Floyd. Didn't fight an A-class fighter prior to Floyd. After all, you can't compare a 23 year old to a 35 year old, right?

                very experianced on high level 35yo and 23yo who is just steping up +bad style match up and we have it all.

                  Canelo had been a pro for over 7 years and was a 2 time champion..it was a unification bout..what are you talking about?

                      those are 2 very different situations...GGG,RIGO AND LOMA..stay in the AM'S forever!!! Canelo like Manny became a pro as a young teenager and was fighting grown men..Floyd turned pro at 19...you are all over the place and lack any type of ration at all..
