Comments Thread For: Josh Warrington Digs Deep For Majority Decision Over Kiko Martinez

First Direct Arena in Leeds - In a battle for the WBC International featherweight title, Josh Warrington (24-0, 5 KOs) had to go through a very grueling fight to win a twelve round majority decision over former IBF super bantamweight world champion Kiko Martinez (36-7-1, 26 KOs).

Kiko Martinez Vs. Josh Warrington robbery

    Results in - (Winner Warrington)
    114-114
    116-112

Josh Warrington was beaten from the very start of the round to the very last second of the 12th round, daylight robbery and Britain does it yet again!

Did any of you catch this horrible result?

I had it 115-113 for kiko. Some of the close rounds I scored for Warrington.

It's alright, Frampton will chew him up,spit him out,toy with him and KO him whenever he decides.

He gets sparked in any higher level than kiko

My only problem with that fight is, will they charge us a PPV premium to watch the shiet?
If I was Quigg I'd be jumping a mile and be getting on my knees saying get me this fight with Josh Warrington, Quigg would steamroll over this guy easily and he wouldn't get robbed like Kiko did If it goes 12.

Very close, competitive fight. Had some money on Warrington by decision, so cheers to the British judges. They are talking now like Warrington's next step will be a world title fight. He's not ready, any of those guys splatter him I think, maybe would have a shot against Selby. Needs a couple more fights at Euro level imo

I caught the fight at the 8th round, by the 11th I was thinking Warrington must of swept all the early rounds if the judges are going to reward this pitiful performance at the final stage of the fight!

That's the worse I've seen Josh, Imagine the riots If the judges scored it correct, Leeds fans and all.

                  Had Kiko winning by 2.

Frampton is gonna end this kids life if they put him in with him.

Even Selby will make him look a fool

Won't be easy to make Quigg v Warrington seeing as one is Hearn and one just moved from Hearn to Warren. Different TV networks too and probably even harder now BoxNation has teamed up with BT. I can't see Hearn letting Quigg go headline a fight on BT/BoxNation and Warren/BT aren't going to want their new signing fighting back on a Sky/Hearn card soon after signing.
