dont understand why nacho is coming in for criticism. pretty sure his gameplan wasnt for chavez to go in there and not throw any punches for 12 rounds

Nacho: "He says he did not eat, I saw him eating egg whites"
Luckily Chavez Jr. has the right to eat something Nacho! or Nacho believe that when someone say "he practically didn't eat for weeks" that means he really didn't eat for weeks?

According to him Canelo rehydrates 25-60lbs. I 1000% agree with you on the 15-17 lbs. But that fkn RTard is beyond ****** if he thinks im gonna biy his BS that Canelo makes 185. *** him. God damn liar.

Chavez Jr and Canelo are both notorious for starving themselves to have a weight advantage. Which is why I posted the question in a thread about a fight between the two of them.

What part is confusing or upsetting you?

I feel for JCC Jr.. He did not get to smoke all the w33d and workout in his living room for this fight.
There may be starving children in Africa, but there was a malnourished child in the ring last week who only made a few million dollars. Oh the horror.

Not a rhetorical question. Wondering off someone knows some history on the subject and when this really became the norm.
Jake LaMotta comes to mind. He always said he would have been better if there had been a SMW division when he fought. He struggled to get down to 160 for his fights, but was too small for LHW.

Vinny Pazienza (I know, not a great fighter) would have to lose 30 pounds to make weight for his fights.

Most often the don't really lose the weight, they dry out by not drinking any fluids 24 hours prior to weigh in. You can lose over ten pounds in water doing this, but at a cost of draining your energy as well. I think the combination of Jr. losing fat and drying out to make weight took a lot out of him. But, even on his best day at his ideal weight he would not beat Canelo.

What is wrong with that? Dude just got beat on like a drum for 12 rounds and got paid a lot of money for it. The fight did suck mostly because of him but once the fight is over what do you want him to do?
