Comments Thread For: Canelo's Trainer: No Doubt Saul Can KO 'No Defense' Golovkin!

After watching some of Gennady Golovkin's recent fights, head trainer Eddy Reynoso has no doubt that Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) is capable of knocking him out inside the distance. Golovkin (37-0, 34 KOs) has certainly proved that he can be hit in recent fights with Kell Brook, Daniel Jacobs and Willie Monroe.

Not trying to start a big who ha but GGG does have subtle head movements he just doesn't leave it there for target practice ( most of the time).

I don't think Canelo can knockout Golovkin.Canelo is a great counter puncher I haven't seen him fight off the back foot for an extended amount of time I seen him do it some against Angulo

This might would be a little more convincing if Canelo had KOed or even KD Chavez Jr. And considering his sparring partner said Canelo doesn't hit as hard as Mikey Garcia, it has even less credibility.

            But we'll see in September

Alverez couldn't put down Chavez who fought like a statue with no arms.

He couldn't put down Tiny OLD Cotto, Tiny OLD Mosley.

He couldn't put down Lara or Trout and some would say he was fortunate to come out of those two fights with a win. Especially Lara.

Can't wait for this fight. Somebody is going to eat crow.

Maybe comes from the fact that the kid hasn't taken on a big challenge in 3 fights. And that's if you consider washed up and old Cotto a big challenge.

But honestly, it probably comes from the kid talking a lot of trash last May and then vacating his title saying he wasn't a Middleweight.

That tends to make fans angry.
