That's a bunch of *****. Because if it was just about the sanctioning bodies purse bid rules Canelo could have just dropped the strap and said lets continue the negotiations. He didn't. He dropped the strap while saying he wasn't a real middleweight, dropped in weight to fight the weakest champion at 154 and then jumped up above middleweight to fight Chavez. So lets not kid ourself here. He didn't want the GGG fight yet and the purse bid thing was just an excuse. The fight is finally going to happy. Lets down water down the celebration by trying to rewrite history ok.

Canelo has already fought the best. GGG and the beast y'all hyped him to be. Canelo will put hands on that ass.

Yes he fought 2 great fighters, lost to one and most think he lost to the other. Then he got a little scared of fighting the best, so goldenboy developed Caneloweight to give him a little advantage. At the time he had TWO middleweight belts inc Ring. He called out GGG TWICE after those caneloweight bouts, then dropped the belts and ran down to fight Liam Smith. Next was Demetrius.. too risky.. so now suddenly he was ready to be a middleweight again.
