Comments Thread For: Parker: My Angles, Movements, Speed Would Give Joshua Trouble

Anthony Joshua may have won the admiration of the boxing world after his eleventh round stoppage of Wladimir Klitschko last Saturday but he hasn't impressed the trainer of Joseph Parker. Kevin Barry, overseeing the Kiwi WBO heavyweight champion's brief preparation for the challenge of Romanian Razvan Cojanu on Saturday, says Joshua has plenty of *****s in his armour - *****s the 25-year-old Parker will easily exploit when the time comes.

I think Parker is a little more dynamic than Joshua, but he fights right in Joshua's best range and doesn't have the best defence, so there's a good chance he gets sparked

I want to see Parker and Wilder face each other in an eliminator of sorts. But considering how much more they would earn from going directly to AJ I won't be surprised to see them both just sit on their paper titles and wait for a shot at the cashcow

Parker is very open to the uppercut on the inside.

He probably does better against Wilder than Joshua IMO.

He'll get sparked when he steps up. Arms too short and poses no KO threat to Joshua.

Think he'd be out of there within 7

Joey Boy has a good shot at beating A.J considering Dyllan Whyte gave him hell and old Klitschko was leading on most scores: still they both made a critical error they decided to trade to often with the more stronger/durable fighter.

Anthony Joshua has suffered multiple concussions now and hes only 18 fights in the game, hes no masterboxer and can be hurt, has stamina issues and defensively flawed. Speed kills and quick feet will limit A.J offensive output and at the same time test his endurance.

If Tyson Fury can perform like he did vs. Klitch for 12 rounds without drugs he can go the distance given that Joshua's power is clearly overrated.
