Comments Thread For: Hearn: Anthony Joshua-Tyson Fury is Miles Away, Will NOT Be Next!

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Tyson Fury taunted Anthony Joshua on Monday by insisting he could beat the world heavyweight champion with "one arm tied behind my back". Shortly after his thrilling 11th-round stoppage of Wladimir Klitschko at London's Wembley on Saturday, Joshua 'called out' fellow British heavyweight Fury by saying: "Fury, where are you at, baby?"

Fury in dream land if he thinks Joshua is next. That fight is at least a year away

        Probably for the best.

        I like Fury.

But the last time I checked, he was as big as Charles Barkley on a TNT NBA set.

Schedule the fight for '17, Fury gets flattened before the 6th round.

He is going to need some dedicated camps and rounds before I think he can beat some of the world level HW's.

The Wlad fight was a year and a half ago, and it wasn't like Fury was put on the shelf due to injuries.

Shit or get off the pot.

You want a Aspen Independent Film Award covering your life, or do you want to be The Heavyweight Champion of the World agian?

        It's on him.

Fury fight won't happen till next spring/summer, if rematch isn't triggered, Joshua will most likely fight his mandatories Pulev or Luis Ortiz

Will happen in 2018 guaranteed. Fury is still fat as f*** but should he fight in July he will be in a position to fight Joshua early next year. Believe me this fight will be HUGE in the UK and both men aren't even close to being 30 years old yet.

I can see each having a fight beforehand. Joshua to recover from Wlad and Fury to get in shape and get the rust off. But not "miles away". Boxing is on a high. Keep the momentum. Don't let this become Bowe/Lewis or May/Pac. That would be all too familiar.

Thank god. If the fight was scheduled fury would just delay twice with injuries and then pull out for ******* use, tieing up Joshua for over a year without a fight. Joshua will rule the HW division for years to come.
