I wonder how much it does on prime-time?

That's great for Showtime, especially in the afternoon.

These ratings aren't very good. In comparison Klitschko previous fight which ALSO aired in the afternoon drew 1.038m live viewers and that was against Fury. AJ is a much bigger draw in the UK. The Fury replay later that night drew 676k. Showtime boxing viewership SMH

That's pretty sad for an event that was that significant to the sport. I understand why it's low (afternoon, non-Americans, division has lost some lustre, Wlad not popular w/ Americans, etc) but considering how many Americans were aware of it and talked about it after, I hoped it more of them would have actually seen it live.

Anyone know what the previous record was for an afternoon Showtime fight? Curious how much this fight beat the record by.

Curious to see how good HBO did on the nighttime side. I'd guessimate its 2x+ higher (1.2M+).

It broke Showtime's previous afternoon boxing ratings record guys. How big beyond that did it need to get lol?

I mean Klitschko is considered a boring old HW by casuals & this fight probably will end up being Joshua's mainstream cherry popping fight for many cats. This isn't like some prime Tyson fight going to the UK type ratings situation. Breaking the Showtime record is YUUUGGGGGE & impressive on its own.

Not sure but I think the Fury fight pulled over 1M in the afternoon on HBO and 1.7M(?) in prime-time re-broadcast.

I thought Show #'s were usually around 25% less so it's not all too far off from that, though I think this was seen as a bigger fight so...

I'm not bashing, if that's the impression you got. I just wish it did better. Considering how big it was to the sport, the viewership didn't reflect that, IMO.
