Young gun Anthony Joshua got up off the canvas to stop former champion Wladimir Klitschko Saturday in the 11th round of a heavyweight world title fight that is being hailed as an epic. In a tumultuous atmosphere at Wembley Stadium, 90,000 fans saw the undefeated 27-year-old add the WBA, IBO titles to his International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt sparked by a devastating right uppercut that led to the 41-year-old Klitschko being felled in the 11th.

Easy now. Very good win and a great gut check but beating a 41 yr old coming off a loss and being inactive for almost 2 yrs doesn't make you the king... Yet

Whoa! Slow down, not quite yet. Maybe in a few years. Definitely need to beat some of the other top HWs.

Bellew trying to land the best bud role or something.

Joshua has been an emerging player & this is just one more step towards that end, but its a lil early to suggest Joshua is the king of anything except the UK boxing scene at this point.

I don't even think he's the king of the HW's yet. There's like 4 or 5 undefeated cats in the top ten iirc. And a couple got titles too & the undefeated lineal champion is on the sidelines, but is talking comeback. Joshua still gots business at HW before he can conquer the rest of boxing.

This is the best possible outcome for josh. Answered any questions there was about his durability and stamina and against the best wlad we've seen in years. He can still improve but overall he can be very proud of himself
