Comments Thread For: Joseph Parker Eyes Joshua For The Future, Impressed By Klitschko

Anthony Joshua delivered one of the great nights in British boxing history by stopping Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko in the 11th round to be crowned IBF, WBA and IBO world heavyweight champion in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley Stadium. What was hailed as the biggest fight night staged in a British ring, watched by the largest crowd for a boxing show in Britain for 78 years, lived up to its billing.

Parker needs to set his sights elsewhere. He was pushed to the brink by Takam and Ruiz Jr

Parker needs to understand that Wilder is available. AJ has mandatories, rematch clauses that could get in the way. I'm sure Parker really doesn't really want to fight Wilder, fans shouldn't let him worm out of it.

Parker v Wilder should happen next. Winner setting up a fight with Joshua.

Sadly there's more chance of Parker and Wilder fighting Bellew than fighting each other.

Would be disappointing, I don't know how Wilder gets out of fighting Stiverne to fight Bellew though.

Not that Wilder fighting Stiverne again is very appealing either.

                  Step aside money possibly?

Wilder v Bellew would do pretty good business in the UK, Hearn would see to that so i'm sure they could afford to pay Stiverne off.

I guess but if you have to pay Stiverne to step aside it is going to be pricey, I would be thinking like $1 million or something approaching that.

Bellew in the UK is good for Wilder would be bigger and would help him have more clout for the Joshua purse split but is it worth that much more?

I could see it but I don't know, I know Wilder said he isn't interested in the Stiverne rematch though.
