Arena Armeec, Sofia - For the WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight title, Kubrat Pulev (25-1, 13 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over veteran Kevin Johnson (30-8-1, 14 KOs). The scores were 120-108, 120-108 and 119-109. Pulev is the IBF's mandatory challenger, and in line to face the winner of Saturday's fight between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko.

The fight was a complete eyesore. Pulev should not be rated in the top 10 and maybe not even in the top 20 at this point. AJ, Wilder, Parker, Ortiz, Klitschko and a lot of other heavyweights will beat him. And possibly beat him badly.

i m convinced now pulew has a secret contract with the retirement insurance to decimate the number of pensioners. so in this case he has to fight klitschko next.

People give Wilder a hard time about fighting Gerald Washington while Pulev takes fights with Kevin Freaking Johnson and whomever that fatty Peter was he fought last time.

          Wasn't KJ going to retire?

I think Parker is Pulev's best shot at winning a title.

Remember when Pulev made Wlad do the booty dew from his first punch throw? A jab?

I know boxing has no internal logic, but wouldn't it be great if Pulev and Ortiz fought each other and winner got winner of Joshua Klitschko without pulling the belts apart again?

You're aware Pulev has a mandated title shot at the Joshua Klitschko winner and sells out 13k Bulgarian arenas ?

Pulev is not a title holder, Wilder is.
