Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua: I Think I Have To Fight in The U.S.; It's Important

Anthony Joshua appears to have changed his opinion about the importance of fighting in the United States. Based on the big business he is doing in the United Kingdom, where boxing is more popular than ever, Joshua seemingly would be well within his right to tell Deontay Wilder and anyone else that wants to fight him that they'll have to travel to England to make it happen. But the unbeaten IBF heavyweight champion said during a conference call Wednesday that he would consider coming to the United States to make his debut on American soil if he defeats former champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) in their huge heavyweight title fight Saturday at Wembley Stadium in London (Showtime: 4:15 p.m. ET/1:15 p.m. PT; HBO: 11 p.m. ET/PT).

          Fight Prediction

I have lived through Klits reign as HW champ. One thing is absolutely certain for this weekend. It will be the most boring fight ever. We had this similar buildup to Haye, Pulev, Povetkin, etc.. Only difference is Klit is older and Joshua could probably win this fight on strength alone. Klit is no BHop

Criminal scum! he was lucky enough to get a visa to enter our borders unlike that convict Peter Fury then he said he had no reason to fight in the U.S to raise his profile...now this. Clearly old habits from a con-man are hard to get rid of.

I'm disgusted we send our Olympic hero the 'Bronze-Bomber' and they send us this crap!!!

Joshua should come to the USA and KO that willow skinny Wilder

Joshua would be loved and admired if Josh came to the USA to live among us and train in America. Let Joshua KO that skinny frail black dimwitted Wilder in Las Vegas. America needs a great Heavyweight that comes across as intelligent and clean cut who can be respected. Wilder is just a dumb hayseed moron who cannot even speak correctly.

I can't believe they let that disgusting pig swill drinking hick, Wilder into this glorious and scenic land. especially after assaulting that noble warrior Dominic Breazeale, he should be ashamed of himself.

Scenic? more like gloomy and depressing ; I heard on Skysports it was going to rain during Juiceua vs. Klitschko *awwww* ...to think Deontay left the beautiful sunshine of the great state of Alabama to watch these two pretenders go at it in a fraudulent 'Unification' is truly sad.
