  • Klitschko's style is somewhat of an eyesore

Not meaning to sound negative but as Wlad got older his style got ugly.

It's "one, two grab" or "lead hook grab" or "jab, jab going backwards then grab".

He was a killer in his prime but now the only thing that keeps his fights from becoming unwatchable is his power.

I am excited for the fight with Josh but I am expecting a ugly fight, but I am sure someone is going to get sparked so I can't wait to see it.

I disagree ... in that I think Wlad has ALWAYS been an eyesore. Even in his younger days, he had that 1-2, clinch style. Yeah, its gotten worse.

I am also worried that we'll see a washed Wlad clinching more than usual.

Also, you should remove the word "somewhat" from the post title

Somewhat? Lol, The guy is a hell of an eyesore and headache.

I can't stand that jab, grab, jab, jab, grab style.

We need exciting knockouts not a holding and leaning on your opponent for 10 rounds knockout. Is it any wonder why when the Klitschko's took over for as long as they did, only 1 PPV was ever done in the U.S. and it was only 1 because the fight barely cracked 100k ppv buys.

Yeah, for the good of boxing, we need Joshua to win Saturday to keep the revival of the Heavyweight division going.

            ^^^^^^This....

I have been so dismayed over the years of how horrid the heavyweight division has become that if they would have scrapped it after the Lennox Lewis era there would have been no complaints from me.

Joshua needs to win and win BIG to close this Klitchsko chapter. I'm all for the passed over due change.

Aside from the Povetkin fight I've really enjoyed his career and most of his fights. Wlad is a great fighter, H2H he's the greatest HW of all time.

For winning his style has worked well for him no question about that, but I don't remember any Klitschko fights that were fun to watch that he won outside of the first Peter fight which he almost lost.

That Povetkin fight is one of the worst fights i've ever seen. It was disgraceful.

Funny you should mention it, but I think Bhop and Ward style are actually worse than Wladimir's, mainly so because both Bhop and Ward rely more on bending the rules and often couldn't knock out a w@nk never mind an opponent.
