Anthony Joshua really respects what Wladimir Klitschko accomplished for over a decade. Though doubt about Klitschko's chin lingers 13 years after he suffered the second of technical knockout defeats to Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster in 2003 and 2004, Joshua isn't underestimating the 41-year-old former champion's ability to take a punch. Well, he's right about that. Klitschko's chin isn't bad at all. Corey Sanders dropped him a few times but Wlad kept getting up. Most heavyweights wouldn't be able to get up even one time after being cracked like that from such a heavy-handed fighter. Lamon Brewster didn't crack Klitschko's chin. Klitschko's tank was empty from throwing so many punches. He hasn't fought like that again ever since that fight.

BUT, history has shown us that the young lion almost always beats the old lion, especially when that old lion has 41 years of life behind him. Having said that, I think Klitschko has much better defensive movement than AJ and it's not totally improbable that he could win this fight.

Klit has an okay chin but lacks mental strength and heart

Wlad fought bums for ten years as a champion in a weak Heavy division. Wlad has an okay jaw but most of the bum Wlad fought were not able to land many punches. Wkad knows what his chin can and cannot take.
He's fought entirely different since being koed.

But rjjj supposedly has suspect chin. You can disguise your chins fraailties and shortcomings with skill and ability

Wlad doesn't really have a good chin. You have to give Wlad some credit though for protecting his chin for so many years. Wlad's safety first tactic since 2004-2005 been excellent, not many fighters been able to land clean power shots.

When he does get touched he seems to panic.

His chin is suspect and always has been. He just barely ever got hit due to his style during his reign. Everytime he does get cracked though he seems like he doesnt like it at all. I remember pulev landing a stiff jab on him and wlads legs buckled.

That's cuz he fought 10 yrs. of bums. Makes me wonder who fought more bums klitschko, joke calslappy, or lil g? I just might have to put brook in there...after all this will be his 3rd above level fighter he fought out of 37 fights. Man I might as well check all fighters with this stat....at least I know Floyd beat more champions than anyone in history but way back they had less champions and weight divisions.
