    Kazuto Ioka defended his WBA bantamweight crown for the fifth time on Sunday, winning a unanimous decision over Noknoi Sitthiprasert of Thailand. In the first title fight on the card at Edion Arena Osaka, Shohei Omori lost his first world title fight, suffering an 11th round technical knockout against Marlon Tapales of the Philippines.

        Marlon Tapales is an excellent fighter, he was robbed by David Sanchez in Mexico where the fans booed the decision and cheered the Filipino.

          They know their boxing in Mexico, it's hard to fool them. I remember that fight, that was when I first noticed Tapales. He's been a menace ever since, terrorizing the other side of the world.
