NEW YORK Jermell Charlo silenced Charles Hatley once and for all Saturday night. Charlo scored a spectacular sixth-round knockout against his mandatory challenger, ending their war of words in emphatic fashion. The defending WBC super welterweight champion drilled Hatley with a short, straight right hand that left Hatley unconscious, under a bottom rope at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

In this belt crazy boxing world we're living in. Its only right to call out the weakest beltholder in the division. There's a couple non-beltholders better than Hurd.

          Hatley got handled...

Jermell put on great dominant performance. Jab was superb hopefully he uses it a bit more going forward. Liked the creative combos left hook needs a little more polished. Right was great needs to vary angles of the right more.

Great Performance by Jermell Charlo. Good stuff, hopefully we can get some unifications and the top guys to fight each other soon.

Why not go for his brother's belt? Your comment is dumb. Canelo and Lara have the other belts; both fights won't happen for obvious reasons. Why wouldn't we want a unification fight?

The only thing I don't like about these charlo brothers is that neither one shows any concern after scary knockout wins. I would like to see better sportsmanship from them.
