Comments Thread For: Luis Ortiz: Rossy Should Be Happy, He Would've Died in There!

Unbeaten heavyweight contender Luis "The Real King Kong" Ortiz (27-0, 23 KOs) believes Derric Rossy (31-12, 15 KOs) should count his blessings that their ten round showdown was canceled. The fight was scheduled to take place this coming Saturday night, April 22, as part of the Premier Boxing Champions event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Fat and out of shape Ortiz ain't hurt. He's faking the funk because he don't want to be in the gym.

I was thinking the same thing. They seem to usually stop just before the end of the forearm like it does in the pic, I'm guessing he just has massive forearms so makes it appear bigger.

He looks older than Foreman in his comeback. He was probably just not in shape.

            He's 48 if he's a day.

Ortiz epitomizes this division fat out-of-shape not much talent there only a few have reasonable time and I would start with Joshua...

Since the Jennings fight I've been wanting to see Ortiz versus the best. One frustration after another.

Ortiz should have taken this fight to stay sharp and in camp, dude has a long wait on his hands awaiting the title shot from the WBC and WBA, the IBF mandated Pulev is next up on the roster.
