The best part about going back and remembering these great fights is there was no internet, NSB, twitter, or other forms of social media that gave casual trolls and ****heads a chance to enter a discussion between real fans about the fight.

This was the Hagler Sugar ducked! It was supposed to be Leonard who would have been KO'd. Hearns had the guts to face this guy.

Hagler-Hearns was something else. You so rarely see two highly skilled boxers just say **** it and go to war like that. Pacquiao and Marquez kind of did the same thing, but it was still a highly skilled affair. So were Corrales-Castillo and Pryor-Arguello. Hagler-Hearns was two guys saying "**** this, we're ending it early one way or another."

I'm not saying it's the best fight of the mentioned fights here, but it's unique among them for that reason.
