It's true these 2 guys are not the best Mexicans to fight each other. But you BOXING fans have to acknowledge something! When you have 2 Mexican fighters, you will always get your money's worth with action. Should I remind you all that, our Mexican fighter are the only ones that have more fights of the year awards? or how about rounds of the year wards? Yes this fight might be only for Mexicans, but I can tell you 1 thing, don't miss the action on May 6th, because these 2 chicos are going to tear their heads up. Unless of course you want to see a circus act like Mayweather vs pacquiao or how about Mayweather vs Connor? If you are that kind of a boxing fan, then don't waste your time watching the not so good warriors beating each other out. Remember Gatti vs Ward it was a mid lever fighters that flotted to the top because of their fights. The funny thing is this, Trump and all the racist people here in the USA don't want the Mexicans, who by the way will be taking all those millions of dollars with a huge event, in a USA arena, with a USA PPV buys. check the posts of anyone regarding this fight who isn't a d*ck rider of Canelo and you'll see that most fans agree with me that this fight is a scam. Just read through the comments of the article where Oscar says this will be like Barrera vs morales. Everyone knows it's a joke. There are even Mexican fans who know the truth. You must be 15 yrs old because any grown man with sense knows better. If you want to know what kind of company you're with as far as big stomps, just read his posts. 90% are rants towards other people about how he's been to jail, how he'd blast a fool, wanting people to suck his d*ck, mentioning pedophiles. Yet you call me the angry hater just because he agrees with your opinion on this fight? 1 boxing related question, if this fight wasn't between 2 Mexicans and was just 2 Russians or 2 Americans with the same accomplishments of Canelo and Chavez jr, would you really be praising this as if it's some great fight or would you see it for what it is? to be honest, I respond to others based on their response to me. Some people can't tolerate the fact that I don't see Canelo vs Chavez Jr as a fight that should be compared to Barrera vs morales. I see it as a cheap attempt by Oscar to make as much money as he can without making the fight that everyone wants to see, which is ggg vs Canelo. That opinion doesn't go over well with Canelo fan boys and they take it as hate. I'm just a boxing fan who wants to see the best fights get made and don't consider myself gullible enough to believe that this is anywhere near the best fight that can be made.

you're being hypocritical because you do comment on several ggg posts and flat out told me you were looking forward to ggg vs jacobs when it happened. Sorry but I have little tolerance for fans who want to compare this fight to Barrera vs morales or act as if this fight is a fight that is credible based on recent accomplishments. You constantly bring up Chavez Jr beating Lee but fail to mention that this was in 2012. What has he done since? If people want to get psyched about this fight based on name recognition or the fact that's its 2 Mexicans on 5 de mayo weekend then fine, but don't be mad at me for calling out bull**** when I see it in regards to the fact that this fight is only popular due to the nationality involved, not because it's the best fighting the best. I also think pac vs horn is a trash fight to make, so was cotto vs Kirkland, so was mayweather vs berto so was ggg vs wade. Let'a all try put the references to d!ck sucking aside for a few moments and focus on the fight.

This is definitely not the best fight that can be made, and it exposes Canelo's hypocrisy and fear of GGG. That said, it's going to be entertaining...unless squeezing down to the catch-weight takes too much out of Jr.

I'm not really a fan of either guy, but I'm actually very interested in this. When was the last time Canelo fought someone who is legitimately bigger than he is? And is it possible that Nacho is going to have Jr. ready for this? There are a lot variables...and depending how they play out, this could be a hell of a lot better than a lot of people think.
