Gary Cornish and Sam Sexton will meet next month. The pair will vie for the vacant British heavyweight title, which was relinquished by Dillian Whyte in January. Cornish (24-1, 12 KOs), the former Commonwealth title challenger, from Inverness, and Norwich's former British and Commonwealth title challenger Sexton (23-3, 9 KOs) are set to face off in the ring on May 20.

I actually really like this fight. Sexton is a good, British level gatekeeper and we still don't know what Cornish is. Dude has beaten 24 bums basically and was blitzed out by Joshua, so there's still no telling where his ceiling and floor is. This fight should give us a better idea. Part of me would like to see Cornish vs Price just to see what would happen. If Cornish can win this fight, he'll be set up nicely for some other good domestic scraps.
