  • Comments Thread For: Klitschko's Manager: Fury Rematch Won't Happen, Nobody Cares

Wladimir Klitschko's manager has dismissed any chance of the former heavyweight world champion having a rematch with Tyson Fury by stating "nobody wants that anymore". Klitschko has not fought since Fury sensationally dethroned him with a points victory in Dusseldorf back in November 2015, but will make his comeback in a fight for the IBF, IBO and WBA heavyweight world titles against Anthony Joshua at Wembley on April 29.

Its a shame that we won't get a chance to see Wlad avenge his loss..

True, though Fury's relevancy is quickly slipping away. In fact, both of these guys are getting to the point where a rematch is getting more unlikely. Even if Wlad wins, Fury has to win a couple times just to get another title shot, then hope Wlad hadn't retired by then.

            Agreed..
If Wlad loses to Joshua he should hang em up.. If he wins then I see him fight 1 or 2 more fights & retire.. Fury would need 1 year to get in shape, fight a softie & come back to fight any top opponents..

You should care. Woulda coulda shoulda isn't an excuse for losing the belts. Wladimir acted like he was in a far off place. That was a weird fight.

Fury ducked the rematch, the only round were Wlad actually performed was the last round and Fury was out classed

Depending on how this Klit/Joshua fight ends. We might not have a choice. Klit KO's AJ then a rematch is almost definitely in the cards. AJ KO's Wladimir and it's pretty much over right? (Klit's career?)

Gypsy king is SOL, Unless Joshua wins and he is pushed in that direction.
