Comments Thread For: Rodriguez To Get Haskins Title Shot? Narvaez Dropped By IBF

He tried and tried, but Emmanuel "Manny" Rodriguez never managed to get in the ring the former champion Omar Andres 'El Huracan' Narvaez. Apparently, he will have to settle for a win via a sanctioning body knockout over the Argentine veteran. This after the International Boxing Federation (IBF) decided to drop Narvaez from his top rated position for breaching the contractual agreement of the final eliminator with Rodriguez, who were ordered to battle for the position of mandatory challenger in the bantamweight division.

Give Rodriguez a shot already: The next runner up is Rodrigo Guerrero who is booked next week and already took an L to that bum Stuart Hall -- that Haskins just beat in September 2016. Finally we get to fellow Britt Paul Butler who I suspect is the leading candidate for a eliminator considering how the IBF loves giving the UK titles...but in this case it would be pointless because all these guys are easy work for Rodriguez.

Lee Haskins is trash! I hated him ever since the bum took his title by default when Caballero missed weight and ever since hes held the belt hostage, not that I cared about the IBF in the first place but its the principle! on top of being a fraud champion Haskins ducked Omori, now gets lucky again in Narvaez curving Rodriguez! this guy has a cowards luck!!! but its soon to run out.

It was always a ****** qualifier. Narvaez is 41 and his prime was eight or nine years ago as a flyweight. It was remarkable he lasted as long as he did near the top but he's beaten nobody since losing to Inoue a few years ago. Just give Rodriguez the title shot and tell Narvaez to retire
