Comments Thread For: Peter Fury Receives Visa, Will Be Present For Joseph Parker Bout

Trainer Peter Fury is all smiles after being granted a special visa which allows him to enter New Zealand to work the corner of his son, Hughie Fury, who challenges Joseph Parker for the WBO world heavyweight. As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Peter had been denied entry to New Zealand on character grounds, because of two previous stints in prison for drug related offences.

Great news. Well done New Zealand.

Fight will definitely go ahead now and ill try and get some tickets. Hopefully Hughie will do the biz and I would have got to see both Fury's win world titles live.

Shame on Minister David Bennet, clearly hes not fit to to hold office and he does not represent the welfare of his people. Peter Fury is a criminal scum and a danger to decent law abiding civilians of New Zealand I'm proud to say that piece of trash was denied entrance into the U.S.A.

Common sense decision. Peter has served his time and isn't a threat to anyone.

Actually that was Big John Fury, not Peter.
