Should Gennady "Gift" Golovkin give Jacobs a rematch instead of going after Canelo?

I would presume Jacobs would want a long-year layoff and would be wary of going through with such nerve-wracking fight again. He's a Haymon fighter, you know.

    So ask Jacobs doe.

Won't give a rematch despite getting killed by fans who said he lost. Won't move up or down in weight for better fights. Pricing himself out of a 15m payday when he only making 2-3m per fight. There is a lot of things GGG doesn't do that greats do.

If one feels Andre owes Sergey a rematch, then Jacobs definitely deserves one.
Andre is contractually obligated to give Sergey a rematch, that is an entirely different situation.

I think we got a bit caugh up in the pre fight expectations. Genna clearly outlanded, dropped and hurt Jacbos multiple times. Victory was clear. Not easy or wide, but clear.

After what this MF'er did to Humberto Soto, his opinion is null and void.

The only saving grace is that if Cortez were reffing the fight, he would have stopped it after the KD and awarded it to Jacobs on a concussive blow.

Whether he is contractually obligated or not if ggg doesn't he looks like a scared coward.

I have a feeling losing for Jacobs will be like a win financially. Essentially Golden Boy can duck GGG by getting Jacobs and GGG to bid for the fight.

Jacobs can either take a rematch offer for less money than Golden Boy will throw his way because they still want nothing to do with GGG and can probably give Jacobs double the money than he would make with a GGG rematch.

The game of duck, duck, goose will go on until 18'.

Bigdummy logic: GGG is scared to fight a guy that 3 judges and virtually every reputable commentator thought he just beat LMFAO

GGG's camp is not ******, they saw the fight and they know they lost, the equalizier that bailed GGG out in all his previous fights wasn't enough against Jacobs who took GGG's shots exceptionally well and and cleary outlanded and outclassed GGG. GGG is getting old and while he's his old self in spurts, he also slows down tremendously in some portions of his fights and these portions are getting longer and longer with every fight, if they're smart they should cash out and accept any deal Canelo gives them if its north of 15 Mill. Time is not on their side at all and Löffler did a a good job of having the judges in his pocket, he secured that scenario that nobody expected so kudos to him, otherwise the big money fight with Canelo would never happen.
"Jacobs who took GGG's shots exceptionally well and and cleary outlanded and outclassed GGG." Compubox tells us otherwise.

Also why does it have to be an immediate rematch. Manny didn't immediately rematch JMM did he?

The Saunders fight would be for a shot to become undisputed champion. That right there makes more sense legacy wise than a Jacobs rematch. Canelo is a huge fight financially for Golovkin and will get the questions about resume off his back so that puts him ahead of a Jacobs rematch.

After those two fights or if he cannot reach a deal with Canelo then Yes a rematch with Jacobs would be the best fight available for him to make

Laughing you picking and choosing who's reputable. Nah tons of commentators said he lost as well as many fans. But I understand why you don't want a rematch you don't want to see the exposed hype job lose again. GGG fangirls praying he ducks the rematch making excuses for him to duck 15m as well. Back to fighting bums to try and rebuild his image? LMAO

I don't think it's a good financial move for Jacobs. He can leverage this win, get good momentum with another win and maybe get a big money fight with Canelo. He probably got as much equity out of the Golovkin fight as he can, why squander it?
