It definitely is in New York that place is full of fake 6th Generation Irish.

My cousins were in a bar in New York and some old yank says to him 'It's terrible what the English to the Irish.' My whole family only moved over to England in the previous generation. Yet we indentify as English with Irish heritage. These crazy yanks fully identify with being Irish. There about as Irish as lucky charms.

That said if I was a half-decent boxer. I'd be straight over to New York, get big a Celtic cross tattooed on my back and a shamrock on my arse and walk out to Rocky Road to Dublin. Copy Matt Macklin.
