Undefeated Demetrius Andrade wins Jack Culcay's WBA "world" title in Germany with a split decision that should have been unanimous. This was a fight in three parts. Andrade dominated the first five (79-29 overall, 14-1 jabs, 65-28 power) by averaging 69.4 punches per round to Culcay's 30.8.

And they said ''SPLIT DECISION'' hahahaha. Really it must be a joke! All German fighters (except Arthur Abraham) are weak. Felix Sturm, Jack Culcay, Tyron Zeuge, Feigenbutz and Braehmer are real BUMS!

Really shows how difficult it is to win against a Sauerland fighter in Germany since the bought judge scored it for Culcay despite the punchstat #s.Props to Culcay for being a rare Sauerland fighter willing to fight a legit opponent, and props to Andrade for being willing to fight the Sauerland mob

Although Andrade landed a lot, it seems like he had an accuracy issue in this fight. Landed just 25% of his punches. And if you're elite fighting a lesser fighter, a good sign that you're above your opposition would be landing 40-50% of your power punches, Andrade only landed 34%.

Not saying he didn't dominate this guy, but his accuracy will be an issue if he fights Lara, who's the complete opposite. His workrate will also not be that high vs better opposition. Lara in his last 12 round fight vs Martirosyan landed almost 40% of his total punches.

If Lara vs Andrade happens, I picture Andrade looking like an amateur, similar to Trout. I predict Andrade will land 18-20% total punches on Lara, and maybe 25-30% power punches.

Culcay has a pedigree though. He has a World Championships gold medal and an Olympics appearance. He knows how to fight too. Plus he had a clean record with his only loss having been avenged.

outlands the guy by over 100 punches and only gets a split decision?

This is why you never fight in Germany.

Based on punch stats, Andrade simply outlanded Culcae, but somehow it's SD lol...well at least he got the victory unlike Kovalev
