They just trying to promote Lemieux/stevens by pretending more in on the line so more people tune it for this fight. They said the same thing about Rosado/Monroe to try and hype up the undercard when neither was a real option. The winner will be low on the list of potential Canelo opponents.

They would need GGG to duck Canelo again, Cotto to lose his tune up fight, Chavez to get beat horribly, Saunders to be out of the mix and lot of other fighters unavailable for Sept to land a fight with Canelo.

hes done nothing but fight the best and then you list chavez jr....a guy who isnt even ranked hes so sh-it and hasnt done anything in years. hes big lol. yeah big, slow, crappy, and has no power. canelo also just fought liam smith so i dont know how hes been fighting the best lately.
