Freak, how you figure that? she is 5'10" and fights at middle weight. She steps in the ring at 160 or less and any other female boxer that she fights will step in at the same weight.

They got a hell of a road ahead of them making Shields a star in boxing. I'm rooting for her big even as a guy who thinks womens boxing is garbage cuz she's from Michigan + is just a person who appears to have put everything into boxing which I think any reasonable person has to respect. But idk how you make lemonade from cranberries which seems like the problem for any female boxer trying to make it big in boxing on any level. Respect to Christy Martin. Respect to Laila Ali. Respect to that chick around right now who's big in her home country/region. I just don't know that Shields will be able to duplicate that with the current state of female boxing in the dead weight zone region in female boxing in a country that just doesn't seem super into boxing with guys right now all that much all things considered.
