Recently, there was a rumor floating around that Spence was dropped from the WBC rankings because he did not enroll in the organization's drug testing program which is regulated by VADA. But Spence says he’s not opposed to the testing protocol as he does want to one day fight for the green belt. “I did not duck VADA testing,” explained Spence. “WBC dropped me out. I tweeted somebody if they would have had me in the rankings, I would have took it. I called Al’s guy if I had to take the test because, he said not because I’m not in the top 10. Crawford vs Spence is my dream fight for 2017. But i think it will stay a dream fight. It would require that Crawford first become undisputed at 140, Spence beat Brook for the title, Crawford jump up again to 147, probably win a belt at 147, only then we could think of a unification fight between Crawford and Spence at 147.

I would favor Crawford, but it's the only fight for Crawford at 135-147 that could go both way, if Spence is as good as people think he is, and i'm not totally convinced yet.

The Pacquiao fight is doubtful. There's no way Arum or Roach put Manny in with Spence. He's too "live" for the 2017 version of the PacMan.
I think he holds the wbo belt while on his farewell tour until he retires (again).

Spence Jr. would destroy Pacquiao, even in his prime! Not a good matchup for Manny. A slick southpaw with power is not what Manny needs at this stage in his life. That's why Roach doesn't want the Crawford fight right now!
