Comments Thread For: Tony Bellew: This Could Be The Last Time I Do This

Tony Bellew has said he may call it quits after his defeat of David Haye. The 34-year-old WBC cruiserweight champion beat the former world heavyweight champion at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday. Bellew, who earnt a career-high purse after the Sky Sports Box Office showdown, is likely to have plenty of lucrative options on the table after upsetting Haye, but he insists it will take something special to tempt him back into the ring.

Ah come on lads, don't be saying he is ducking this person or that person leave him retire if he wants.
He's not an elite fighter, he knows that himself, he has admitted he's only boxing now for his kids future (which he has successfully secured now)

You can hate on him anyway you want, but the fact of the matter is,for a fighter with a limited skill set, he has put in the work the hard way and went further than me,you, him and everyone else ever thought possible and made a nice bit of money on the way to doing so.

Did you really ever think we would hear Bellew and wilder,Haye,Joshua, ward and/or now fury all in the one sentence??

Yeah, Bellew is exactly the type of guy Wilder would cherry pick over a real HW.

LOOOOL you just know he was licking his chops when Bellew called him out.

Wilder's like "yessss, I can fight an opponent the public will think is legit rather than fighting the real HW"!

Hahah, ahhhh Wilder, the best boxer to make jokes about due to his cherrypicking, windmilling, and chicken legs!

Bellew might just do a demolition job on Wilder if he connects once - 'den fragile legs just can't withhold a heavy shot from a good puncher!

                    WHY ARE U YELLING!

                    Lol...

It would be perfectly fine if Wilder hasn't fought bum, after bum, after bum... And is yet to even fight a top-10 HW contender!

GGG has fought several top-10 MW's, and is fighting arguably the second best MW after himself in a few weeks.

LOL when your best win is Stiverne after almost 40 fights deep, then we got problems.

LOL, Wilder's resume is littered with guys like Owen "WHAT THE HECK" Beck.

Wilder is the joke of the HW division, and a mockery.

I refuse to see more piss and shyte heaped upon what used to be sacred rights for the WBC title.

Oh, and Brook is one of the best WW's in the world; Bellew shouldn't even be in the top-10 at HW. And he's only been at CW for like 4 fights.
