Comments Thread For: Haye on Injury Stories: Bellew and His Camp Need Confidence

David Haye has dismissed concerns about his fitness for Saturday night's clash with Tony Bellew. Haye revealed he had been to Munich, but only for a routine physical with his doctor, and received confirmation he is fit to fight. The heavyweight, 36, will meet Bellew at London's O2 Arena and dismissed reports an Achilles injury could force him to withdraw.

Haye is going to win injured or not, the only way Bellew could win is if Haye gets an heart attack the same time be lands a punch

He should have said it was just a routine check-up on "The Gloves are Off" on Sky, but didn't address it when Bellew said to Haye "your doctor told you you're unfit to fight." I think he does have problems but figures, short of his arm totally giving out, he'll easily win this one.

There have been stories of Haye being injured? These rumors are usually true. Not a good look.

Bookies don't alter the odds on a "hunch". The lines narrowed a bit a day or so ago with specific mention of the injury, so clearly there's something with his achilles or clitoris (womp womp). No fighter flies to another country 3 days before their fight for a "once over" lol. Haye is so dumb that he thinks everyone else is. I don't know if they can give you an injection to stop it from flaring up or what. Maybe something to that effect, but it's clearly on his mind. Bellew needs to make him move around the ring to be able to make it interesting

Haye wasn't injured pre fight lads, he said so himself lol.

Asked what his doctor Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt had told him about his condition, Haye said: “He said I’m tip-top, he said exactly what I thought he would say. He said I’m the healthiest he’s ever seen me.”
