Floyd and Roy Jones are gonna make MMA guys look helpless. But atleast we will settle it once and for all, about MMA guys and their stand up skills compared to a boxers stand up

Boxing skills, not stand up skills...there's a significant difference. Full stand up Silva and Connor would still win.

You might be right about Anderson with this version of Roy (stationary), but there's no way Connor come close to beating Mayweather. If May can take a clean hook from Shane Mosley, then Connor ain't sleeping him. This fight will be just like Mayweather vs Gotti....

Nick Diaz vs RJJ woulda been better. I think RJJ ko's Silva faster than Floyd does McWacker.

agreed, even in silva's prime, in a boxing match, he will still lose to this version of jones.

from all accounts jones still has lots of money. he's also an HBO broadcaster, which is a 6 figure gig that you can keep up for over a decade as long as you don't get punchy.

i think it's obvious that jones is fighting for more than money now. he still thinks he can get a title shot if he strings a few wins together, win the title, and be champion of the world again. he's deluded. fortunately it looks like boxing commissions aren't going to license him. let's hope he can't get an MMA fight. that's a brutal sport for a 50 year old man to learn. there's no way he comes out of that fight without a serious injury. anderson silva was known for his striking, but he's also a brazillian with a ton of grappling experience in several organizations and over 2 decades. he's going to rip jones' arms off.

but look at the guys he is fighting though. those guys will not get him a title shot. and then now he's calling out for silva who is not even a boxer lol. i think he is still doing this simply because he still wants to fight, nothing more.
