Vasyl Lomachenko wanted his fight against Jason Sosa to be contested for his WBO 130-pound title and Sosa's version of the WBA championship. The WBA intends to strip Sosa, though, thus they'll fight for Lomachenko's championship alone April 8 inside The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland. After multiple opponents turned down the opportunity to fight him, the Ukrainian southpaw is just thankful Sosa stepped up to accept the challenge.

it was Bob/Loma that decided not to fight Walters right after he got stripped for missing weight then willingly fought him after he was off for a year. He dominated Walters and made him quit so that decision worked in his favor.

Loma shouldn't get self righteous when other boxers make decisions to take fights when its best for them just like he did.

That said, I would love to see him fight Berchelt before going to 135. I don't see Salido giving him a rematch unless Bob/HBO throw an armored car full of dough at him.

Not initially. It was Bob/Loma. Then we got all the Bob BS about Walters "pricing himself out" (which oddly enough wasn't the case after he was off a year) then there was Loma offering him a winners bonus.
