If Pacquiao didn't lose to JMM and his PPVs were still selling close to 1 mil, i don't believe he would have ever stepped up to fight Mayweather. He didn't believe he would win and prepared a lame excuse for when he lost.

if he was able to be market as the best fighter in the world after getting knocked out with a jab, im sure he'll be fine if he lost to floyd when they first negotiated for the fight. he got knocked out by marquez, and look at how many buys the floyd vs pac fight did. LOL!
