Comments Thread For: Breazeale Talks Ugonoh Fight, Szpilka, Loss To Joshua, More

In just under two weeks, former world title challenger Dominic "Trouble" Breazeale (17-1, 15 KO's) makes his anticipated return to the ring against Izu Ugonoh (17-0, 14 KO's) on February 25, 2017 in Birmingham, Alabama. The intriguing heavyweight match up is scheduled to open up the Premier Boxing Champions telecast on Fox Television. This will be Breazeale's first bout since taking on IBF world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua last summer in a courageous and spirited effort, which took place in London, England.

He's underestimating Izu which is wonderful. Just because you are taller and weigh more doesn't mean you are stronger. Izu will hurt your flubby stomach with the first body shot he lands. As long as Izu doesn't have a glass chin (which I assume he does not) then Breazeale is going to gas himself out and he'll get another L on his record.

I like Breazeale, tough guy who has some great heart. I think Izu is simply going to be too fast and quick to hang with him. It will look alot like the Joshua fight IMHO..

Breazeal is a nice guy with a big heart but he is in for a big surprise. izu has been in the ring with much bigger guys than breazeale and is much stronger, faster and skillfull than breazeale. sounds like he needs to do allot more homework on izu. breazeales slow sloppy style is made for izu. its simply going to be lights out for dom in this one. he just dont know it yet

Breazeale in a good position to win here hes had much better opposition and has fought Joshua his last fight so hes used to a bigger threat than Izu himself. The question is will he land that flush shot on Izu ? breazeale will take shots from Izu and make it difficult for him to get the k.o which is why i think this is a 50/50 fight now.
