According to multiple sources in Mexico, the next ring return for former world champion Antonio Margarito (40-8, 27 KOs) is being planned for April 1 in Monterrey. In August, Margarito won a ten round split decision over Ramon Alvarez (23-5-2, 15 KOs), the older brother of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, to capture the WBO Continental super welterweight championship.
