Comments Thread For: Witter Reflects on Hatton Mishap: Khan-Brook Must Happen Now!

Former world champion Junior Witter is still aching over the fact that he never stepped in the ring with his career rival, Ricky Hatton. During their prime runs, a Hatton vs. Witter showdown was the biggest fight to be made in the UK and eventually there was even interest from the American networks to televise the fight.

Khan is the only one holding this fight up. He fears Brook and knows he is the better of the two

He refused to fight as he stunk out the joint. Witter can only blame himself for not getting the Hatton, he should Have beat Bradley, should have beat Alexander i cannot even think who else he lost to

Hatton couldn't stand him and wouldn't give him a pay day.

And the same people in the U.K. that celebrate Hatton ducking Witter, are the same ones accusing Khan or not fighting Brook.... the irony.

I remember all the 'will they, won't they' talk rolling on. I remember at the time thinking Hatton disliked Witter too much give him the time of day as he went up the rankings.

At the time i wasn't too fussed about them fighting, looking back now though i kind of wished they did.
