BoxingScene.com reported last week that Ramon Alvarez was open to the idea of a rematch with Omar Chavez - but only if the fight would take place in a featured position on the anticipated May 6th event, which is going to feature the main event battle between their brothers - Ramon's younger bother Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Omar's older brother Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

I think it would of been cool to televise it, but not put it on the PPV. It definitely wouldn't be good as a co-main event. I think having the fight earlier in the day would end the distractions and Jr. would be able to focus on his fight later on that night.
