Fairly typical Hearn statement "...why risk a tough fight when there are easier fights out there" even if it means giving up a belt. How about that Brook wants to prove he is one of the best in the division and isn't running as a lot of folks are saying. Of course everyone wants to make a buck but doesn't he get the personal pride, legacy, etc etc.

I could understand draining yourself for Pacquiao or Mayweather, but why drain yourself for Spence Jr.? It was a 50/50 fight if he didn't have to drain himself, now I think it's 70/30 in Spence Jr.'s favor! If I were Brook, I would be targeting Jermall Charlo or Erislandy Lara @ 154!

Brook is not going to 154 to fight those fighters. He's going be fighting the same typical Euro bums like he fought at 147. Brook and Hearn were in no hurry to fight the other top 147 fighters. All they did was talk about. Brook could have been a unified champion if he would of fought Vargas instead of getting paid to get his ass kicked by GGG. The only 147 fighter they had any true interest in fighting was Khan. I can guarantee u they Brook will end up fighting Liam Smith in the near future

I believe Hearn has said that Brook has been having problems making 147 for some time now, but after going as high as 170 prior to GGG, 147 seems ridiculous, and Hearn doesn't want Brook to damage his body.

He won't make a lot of money fighting Spence Jr., Lara, or Charlo, but at least he wouldn't have to drain himself for Lara or Charlo. It does seem crazy that he wants Khan more than Pacquiao or Bradley!
