On March 25th, WBA lightweight champion Jorge Linares (41-4) will travel back to the UK to face Anthony Crolla (31-5-3) in a rematch of their September war that Linares won by unanimous decision. Linares got cut! which made things look more dramatic. I cannot remember whether the cut was due to a punch or accidental headbutt? nevertheless, that fight was the first time i had really paid attention to Linares! and i was very impressed by him! seems like a decent fighter.

I believe the fight is happening again, because it makes business sense! good exposure for Linares aswell.

Crolla is obviously banking on just surviving to get a robbery
and then Crolla, Hearn and the brit fans will justify it saying "it was close"
Then we'll hear about a trilogy that never happens unless Linares gets old....

Crolla never had to give Linares a shot. He could have fought Fana or Orlando. Crolla said he wanted to prove he's the best. He could have fought for an easier title instead of this rematch. Hearn's a crook.
