I don't think I've read a bad mailbag by the Breadman. Great work as usual

What racist emails? We haven't heard anything about it on Boxingscene which is weird because anything Floyd or Haymon does ends up on here. I already knew Oscar was racist just look at his entire GBP staff there's no diversity. Had these been Floyd emails we'd be getting a front page column on Boxingscene about it.

when people talk Ali they always factor in the political and social impact..what Floyd said is if you only focus on in-ring skills and achievements he's better than Ali.. and he's right.

as far as heavyweights Ali is the greatest no doubt. but pound for pound Floyd has to rank higher.

but just like Breadman said all this **** is subjective.

the "no look" hook from Danny catches everybody but Keith has a beard. how would Danny react to Thurman's cracking shots? Robert Guerrero says Keith's power is the truth. picking One Time by KO in 9.

Mayweather vs Mcgregor is a damn circus. but look up Muhammad Ali vs Antonio Inoki (June 26,1976), Ali faced a pro wrestler in Japan in a fixed fight for money. check out this quote :

"Why fight a wrestler and demean the boxing title in many people's eyes, Ali was asked. If his stated plan to retire at the end of the year was true, his answer was understandable. 'Six million dollars, that's why,' the champion replied."

Cotto/Kirkland is more competitive than most think. Canelo is a damn tank, he ate some serious bombs from Kirkland before he chopped him down, there's no guarantee Cotto eats those punches. he's more polished, he will be more accurate but he's gonna take some serious blows and I won't be shocked if Cotto gets dropped. .it doesn't belong on PPV though.

and Bread dodged the Jrock question. what's the next move for him? I still have high expectations for his career. boxing fans tend to throw fighters under the bus after one defeat.

Floyd was the beneficiary of a ridiculous decision against Jose Luis Castillo, so he shouldn't even be talking.

But in terms of being greater than Ali?

            Ridiculous.

Ali fought Liston, Patterson, Terrell, Frazier, Foreman, Shavers, Lyle, Norton, & Holmes.

He fought killers in the best era for heavyweights in the 1960s and '70s and beat mostly all of them.

He has the greatest chin in the history of boxing arguably.

He was a middleweight in the body of a heavyweight with an ability to slip punches unseen in a man that size.

He had almost perfect footwork and defense in his prime in the late '60s.

He would be considered all-time great REGARDLESS of his political leanings.

Floyd on the other hand, for the first decade of his career was a killer, I'll give him that (especially at lightweight), outside of the fight against Castillo, but spent the second half of his career as a cherry picker who waited until fighters were either old or vulnerable to fight them.

I respect Floyd as the greatest post Roy Jones Jr. fighter in boxing, but he's not seeing Ali's courage, chin, or athletic freakishness as the GOAT.

Ali's top 5 dead or alive.

            Floyd's top 20
