What are the big name fighters for Kell Brook at 154? Cotto is the biggest name and he's already turned him down once. And Canelo posted he's going to fight Cotto later this year so Cotto probably won't fight after Kirkland. And if he does it won't be against a threat. . Errol Spence fight replay ratings on NBCSN are doing better than the live fights of other guys on at 154. His replay rating did almost as well as Lara's live fight on Spike. Lara, Jermell, and Jermall Charlo aren't going to the UK to fight unless it's for a ton of money, Kell doesn't even have a belt at 154. Now we're back at the Brook/Vargas situation. Kell getting paid less than the fighter coming to fight him. And if he does position himself as a mandatory at 154 he's on the low end of the purse split. Against Spence he's on the high end, 75-25. Spence also doesn't have a problem travelling to the UK to fight Brook. Spence also isn't complaining about money. Liam Smith is with Frank Warren. I'm trying to figure out what are these big money fights at 154 Kell is talking about? Is he talking about Liam Williams? Carson Jones trilogy?

Khan told him he has to fight his mandatory if he wants the fight. Khan also told him to get a belt if he wants a fight. Kell did and Khan still didn't fight him. Khan told him he has to fight big names. Kell fought GGG and Khan still isn't fighting him. KHAN IS NOT FIGHTING BROOK!!!

There are no big name, big money fights for Brook at 154. That is simply his excuse to avoid fighting Spence. When a fighter wants to avoid another fighter, one of the excuses they use is that there at bigger names worth more money out there. Those name and money fights usually
never materialize.

After thinking about it a bit I am not particularly interested in a Khan fight myself. For me, that's a foregone conclusion. Kell sparks him - even a Brook who isn't 100% at the weight. I literally can't make myself see it another way. And I'd actually consider myself more of a Khan fan than a Brook one. Khan can't hold many shots from Brook imo. No chance. Khan doesn't remotely think he can win that fight either it would have happened years ago if he did.

A Spence fight at 147 would be good but I am assuming he'll grow into 154 too. Realistically, Spence at 147 with the 75/25 split might be his biggest payday. But there will be that nagging doubt that Kell is compromised at the weight. But I still think that would be a quality fight. From a spectators point of view that's still the one I'd like to see. But I completely accept that Kell might outgrown the weight and only him and his team can really know that, in which case he needs to vacate and move up for the good of his health and because Spence is sat on the shelf and it isn't fair to keep him waiting.

Really Kell hasn't made the most of that 147 title since beating Porter which is a shame and probably why he doesn't want to give up his title.

He would do that 155 thing that he has been doing. Also Brook went all the way to 160 and has the false sense of security because he is getting accolades for his losing performance.
