The article didn't say anything different. This will be a good test for both men.

if u read the article - it said there's a good chance this fight doesn't happens as Jack is moving up with hopes of fighting Adonis Stevenson.

And Smith would have to fight Anthony Dirrell for the vacant title.

Uhhh, yes it did? It mentioned the high likelihood of Jack vacating, and moving up to fight Stevenson.

And Smith then fighting Anthon Direll for the vacant title.

If smith were to win the wbc, groves the wba and eubank jr the ibo....any chance a supermiddleweight title leaves the UK in the next 5 or so years given the brits love of domestic tournament dust ups?

                Not so fast!!

Not sure who Smith has beaten of relevance in the paid ranks to be soooo sure he beats Direll EASILY.

A title fight against Direll if that comes off will be a significant step up for Smith whether you think Direll is terrible or not.

Jack is already "tested" many times over and proven.

Smith on the other hand still needs to be tested. Thus far he has been brought along carefully for this chance.
